Representative: Lisa Leija has finished her undergraduate degree from the University of Houston-Downtown in 2005. In the past year, she has worked on a research project with a member of the UH-D faculty that has piqued her interest in the Geosciences. As a result, Lisa is beginning a new degree program at the University of Houston-Main campus, where she'll be pursuing a B.S. in Geology. Previously Lisa has volunteered and served on several committees such as the Student Government Association (Senator), Community Outreach Committee (chairperson), Auxiliary Committee, and the Environmental Club (Exec. Officer) at UH-D. Alternate: Robyn Raftis is presently a student at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI), where she has earned a BA in Geology and is presently working towards a M.S. in Geology. Her research focus is Environmental Geology. Robyn has been working as a volunteer this past summer at the Grand Tetons National Park visitor center.
