Gaea is the official bimonthly publication of the Association for Women Geoscientists. Gaea is published six times per year, in issues designated January/February, March/April, May/June, July/August, September/October, and November/December. The publication date is near the middle of the issue period. Submission deadlines are the first of the month and advertising deadlines are the tenth of the month, in January, March, May, July, September, and November. AWG publications, including Gaea, provide advertisers with the opportunity to reach a targeted audience at cost-effective rates. The publication of Gaea supports the goals of the Association through the exchange of professional, technical and educational information, including: technical articles news of the Association, and its programs and activities book reviews issues of particular interest to women geoscientists career guidance The current circulation of Gaea is 1100. The September/October issue is distributed through AWG's exhibit booth and at Association events at the Geological Society of America Annual Meeting. The November/December issue is distributed in a similar manner at the American Geophysical Union annual meeting. Subscriptions to Gaea are free to members of AWG, and are available to non-members at $75/year. Back Issues We are pleased to offer back issues of Gaea in the form of Abobe Acrobat files.
