1)    GSA ANNUAL MEETING – EARLY REGISTRATION RATES EXTENDED

This year's Geological Society of America Annual Meeting will be held at the Pennsylvania Convention Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, October 22-25.  We have just learned that the early registration deadline has been extended 24 hours to midnight (MDT), Tuesday, 19 September.

As a member of GSA’s Associated and Allied Societies, you receive the same registration price as a GSA member.  That is a savings of $90 on the full meeting, professional registration.  By registering by midnight (MDT) Tuesday, you will save an additional $85 on the full meeting, professional registration. That is a total savings of $175!

The sooner you register, the better your chances of getting in the popular field trips, short courses, special events, and guest programs.  You will also avoid the onsite prices and lines.
