1) AWG ICELAND FIELD TRIP REGISTRATION DEADLINE LOOMS!
Please don't forget that the registration deadline for the Iceland
field trip is April 1 - no fooling! We will continue to accept
registrations after that date until the trip fills, but we need to make basic
decisions in early April, so we need a valid trip count. For trip

questions, please contact Marcia Knadle at marciaAWG@aol.com.

entitled Women, Geosciences & Development will convene in El Jadida,
Morocco on 4 - 13 May 2006.
The Association of African Women Geoscientists believes that the
involvement of women in research is a key point to help Africa to solve its
socio-economical problems. It is a great honour for the Chouaοb Doukkali
University (El Jadida, Morocco) to participate to this dynamic by
hosting the 3rd Conference of the Association of African Women
Geoscientists.
