1)	SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA NATIONAL PARK RESEARCH GRANTS

The Pacific Coast Science and Learning Center at Point Reyes National
Seashore is pleased to announce a Request for Proposals (RFP) for
research projects in San Francisco Bay Area National Parks. Several grants
of up to $2,500 will be funded for research under a variety of topics
ranging from wildlife ecology to social sciences. Funds may be used to
develop new projects, or to extend and improve projects that are
currently underway.

Priority will be given to projects that have the potential to inform
management of National Parks, however, all proposals will be considered.

The deadline for applications is August 22, 2005.

For the full RFP, research priorities, and an application form, go to:

Please contact me with any questions, to discuss research priorities
and ideas, or if you have trouble downloading the RFP from the web,
