1) CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

The services provided by the AWG depend on the hard work and dedication 
of its Board of Directors (BOD) --- the 
officers and regional representatives. These positions are filled by 
election from among the members-in-good-
standing of the Association. BOD positions offer, among other things, 
opportunities for members to gain 
experience--or lend their expertise---in association management, and to 
further the goals of AWG and to help 
structure its future. 
The AWG Nominations Committee hereby calls for nominations for the 
following positions (the term of office 
follows each entry):
President-Elect (one year; Oct. 1, 2002--Sept. 30, 2003); the President-
Elect will become President the following 
year, and Past President the year after that);
Treasurer (two years; Oct. 1, 2002--Sept. 30, 2004)
North Central Region Representative (3 years; Oct. 1, 2002-Sept. 30, 
2005)
North Central Region Alternate (3 years; Oct. 1, 2002-Sept. 30, 2005)
Nominations are open to both women and men, and self-nomination is 
encouraged. Nominations will be accepted 
until July 1st. Please send your nomination(s) and/or any questions to 
secretary@awg.org.
