Just water, rocks, and time. The AWG Grand Canyon adventure is scheduled for July 9-17, 2001. We will run the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon, 188 river miles from Lee's Ferry to Whitmore Wash. The total cost will be approximately $2200 per person (subject to change, does NOT include transportation to/from Lee's Ferry, AZ); full payment will be due in April/May 2001. A deposit of $500 per person will hold your reservation--this far in advance, all deposits are fully refundable. We need to make a good-faith deposit with the outfitter by the end of March to hold those dates, so don't delay! C 4) Teach Palaeontology (excl. palaeobotany) at graduate and undergraduate levels; candidate should have interdisciplinary research program focussing on palaeoecology and fossil ecosystems, especially of the Palaeozoic era. Desugnbed for graduate and advanced undergraduate students, these workshops deal with 'real life' issues concerning professinal opportunities and challenges in applied geoscience.
