Eleven rooms have been reserved for Thursday-Saturday with the option to continue the rate of $79/double (tax is 7.2%). Reservations will be made by individuals, cut off date is 10/21/04. The hotel has a breakfast buffet.
Colorado School of Mines (meeting location): We will meet in the Adams roomon the 3rd floor of the Green Center 11/5 & 6 from the Geophysics Dept.

Transportation: Transportation from the airport is available through Golden
West shuttle $29 one way $54 RT. Closer to the date, I will ask for arrivaltimes and send those out so that folks can carpool from the airport.Transportation will be needed between the hotel and the meeting space. Norma& Elizabeth can provide some rides but a few people may want to rent cars.I (allyson) will also have a rental car and will provide rides aswell.
Guest Speaker/career development: We will be having a guest speaker todiscuss how to manage a non-profit organization. More details will followconcerning this part of the meeting. Any member who is a chapter officeris welcome and encouraged to attend the meeting to take part in thishalf-day seminar. If you know of a chapter that would like to send anofficer, please feel free to pass this note along. IMPORTANT: we will bespending a half-day on revamping the position statements of the organizationand other related documents. You input is essential for this portion of the meeting.
